Training -Financial Information

In this our third post of the series about becoming a Singing Mamas choir leader, we get into the all important financial detail. Coming soon we talk about the different directions Singing Mamas can take you.

What Will I Earn?

For each Singing Mamas session you lead you can expect to earn between £55-£175 after costs, depending on class size and venue. During one week it is possible to have between 1 -6 choirs. Term Time only-Approx 39 weeks per year.

As well as regular classes, it is possible to offer specialist pop-up workshops in other areas that you hold interest. Inspiration on broadening and developing your own branch of choir community is covered in the retreat training.

What Are The Costs?

The cost of the retreat training is £475 which includes all meals and accommodation.

Following your training you’ll have the opportunity to join as our network as a member and start your own Singing Mamas Choirs. There’s a small set up fee of £90 and an annual membership after your first year of running choirs of £90.


Our mission to grow the community of Women and Choir Leaders is not driven by financial ambition. Your license fee will contribute to the ongoing development of Singing Mamas Choir and the widening reach. Through working together we all grow, meaning even more women will discover the joys of community singing.
